About Itzhak Beery -
Itzhak Beery is an acclaimed author and Internationally respected shamanic teacher, healer, speaker, and trip leader. Raised in an Israeli Kibbutz, he had a fine art career and owned an ad agency in NYC. A midlife crisis led him from a set skeptic into a dedicated spiritual seeker. Since 1995, he has integrated the teachings from his indigenous and Western teachers. He was initiated into the "Circle of 24 Yachaks of Imbabura" in Ecuador and with the Amazonian Kanamari Pajè in Brazil. Beery founded ShamanPortal.org, The Andes Summit, and SPQR Magazine. He co-founded the New York Shamanic Circle and Amaroo Sanctuary in Mindo, Ecuador. He received the 'Ambassador for Peace Award' from the Universal Peace Federation and the UN.
